Thanks for taking the time to learn more about us! Zarpe was conceived after moving to Playas del Coco in May 2017. We were looking for a relaxing and tasty place for a quality drink from time to time. We couldn’t find just what we were looking for, so we thought: “hey why not do it ourselves?” We thought we had maybe made a mistake until we finally opened and had the chance to engage with all of our awesome clients.

We strive to offer cocktails of the highest quality with locally produced and grown juices, garnishes, and fruits. We make all of our salts and dehydrated fruits in-house. We even make our own fruit roll-ups from time-to-time. We are constantly experimenting, tinkering, and customizing - hoping to offer Coco a unique cocktail bar.

At our core, we are a place all about friends and family. We want people to feel welcome and refreshed after leaving Zarpe. We hope you always feel at home when you join us for a drink!

Lastly, what is “Zarpe” is a question we get a great deal! Zarpe is a Costa Rican expression for last drink - which means about 5 more later you will be at home.
